I'm a femme, bisexual switch living in a D/s poly household.

As a submissive I find strength of character and intelligence of the highest importance. I adore honourable people and can't imagine
anything else would ever inspire submission in me. If I can out smart you, I probably will (so intelligence, honour, patience and a
clear sense of perspective are all characteristics I admire and associate with a dominant personality.)
Although I identify as submissive, I don't believe i'm a masochist. What works for me in a play context is endurance.
Hence, I find people who are strong, assertive, confident and a little competitive extremely attractive. If i'm topping then I'd have to add "female" to
that list too. I'm definately not into humiliation and find brattiness a big turn off.
Power, for me, comes from empowerment and having the ability to guide someone through pain that they thought they
couldn't endure is a unique gift with it's own indescribable pleasure. However, since it's empowerment which drives my play there isn't really anything
in particular I like to do the most, although, as a Top, I do have a particular interest in sharps (cuttings, sutures, staples etc) but probably
because they present a bigger challenge (and a good test of endurance.) I also like blood painting - particularly in a ritualistic context.
